Old Crocks Vintage Hire is a family run wedding and event hire business. We specialise in vintage themed weddings and events. Our services include wedding equipment, decor and props hire, a styling service, vintage china hire, traditional ice cream bikes, gramophone hire and new for the 2013 season bell tent hire. Adding that extra special touch is where we excel – whether it's styling a venue or providing the props and decor we like to come up with innovative ideas to inspire your guests. We specialise in supplying home spun weddings and all things vintage of course – from bunting to birdcage, we've got it covered!

Launch Party for New Look

Vintage China for New Look

Old Crocks recently provided and setup vintage china for the launch of fashion company New Look's new head offices in Weymouth. We also provided ice creams for the guests from our 1950s ice cream bike. New Look's founder Tom Singh was there and cast his eye over our ice cream bike with a nod of approval, saying "Very good!". Thanks Tom.

Our vintage china went down a storm and New Look catering manager Paul Bedford made a fantastic cake version of their new building.

Vintage Fashion Shoot With Nikita Sablier

Vintage Ice Cream Trike Fashion Shoot 11

We recently collaborated with Nikita Sablier a boutique fashion brand with a shop in Salisbury, to mark the launch of our new cocktail lollies! The shoot featured 5 models wearing Nikita Sablier clothing, 3 photographers and a make-up artist and took place in exclusive surroundings in the heart of the New Forest.

The photo shoot began with a vintage picnic setup featuring our wind-up gramophone which is available to hire for weddings, parties and events. Models Nikki and Lisa had a ball trying out different records from our collection of 78s but the photographers were not so pleased and had to confiscate the winder from them!

Cocktail Lolllies & Ice Cream Trike

Next we did a setup with our 1940s Ice Cream Trike - otherwise known as Little Al's Ice Cream Trike! The models wore the latest style of vintage clothing from Nikita Sablier which was looked fantastic. The Ice Cream Trike makes a great fashion shoot prop with it's steering bar, parasol and style. The models even sat on it, although they didn't pedal very far!! Modelling is not all about standing - we got the deckchairs out too! See the full results here.

The deck chairs weren't the only thing we got out - the lucky models got to taste our new cocktail lollies. These adult treats are perfect for adding a twist to your hen party, wedding or event and they certainly went down a treat at our photo shoot! The models were photographed with Watermelon Mojitos and Honeydew Cucumber & Mint Margeritas. See the results in our gallery here.

Finally we did a poolside shoot showcasing Nikita Sablier's latest swimwear and our cocktail lollies of course. Good use was made of the props - a beachball and an umbrella (unfortunately we had to use it for real as it started to rain!) and the models even dipped their feet in the pool!

New Ice Cream Bike

Ice Cream Bike Hampshire

After a bit of a road trip to Penzance and a visit to the Cornish Ice Cream Company we're pleased to announce the purchase of a second ice cream bike. Our new bike has a freezer on the front that can fit a whopping 20 4 litre tubs of ice cream in, it's got gears and it's even got a brass bell attached to the parasol to let everyone know about it! The new bike will be available for hire immediately joining our 1940s ice cream bike – does this mean we have a 'fleet'?!

Pedal Car Grand Prix

We put it to the test straight away – serving ice cream at the road side of The British Pedal Car Grand Prix in Ringwood on Sunday. It's not often that you see the main streets of a large town converted into a racetrack in this country. This biennial spectacle is an offbeat, fun community event. We were in a good position to see the action, with two wacky races taking place and 65 teams competing. Our favourite pedal cars were the Go Bananas (banana shaped obviously!) and The Ladybirds. The pedal cars occupants were spurred on by the crowds pedalling furiously as they did circuit after circuit.
